We are now recruiting for a highly motivated Sales Manager to proactively manage the sales function for a well-known independent lift engineering organisation in the South East of UK.

This role will require the selling of new service contracts for passenger lifts. Also to identify repair works and major modernisation's. The role is to identify customer's needs and to generate sales to exceed individual sales targets. Plus accounts manage existing accounts.

If you are a proven sales professional from the lift industry with a strong portfolio of clients, positive sales attitude and desire to build something for your future then this is the opportunity for you. I am keen to hear from skilled New Business Development Managers with the hunger to drive the sales force and build a team around you to take my client into the future!

A new Lift Engineer opportunity has come onto the market based down in London. This independent lift engineering firm is on the hunt for a highly competent Lift Service & Repair Engineer. The requirement is to manage a service contract of 100 lifts. These lifts will be assigned to you based on your geographical location. You will have the technical understanding for more in depth diagnostics for repairs. It will be your responsibility to account manage these lifts for regular periodic services.

You will be used to travelling as part of your job and happy travelling from anywhere in London, Kent or Essex.

If you are a skilled Lift Engineer that specializes in service and repairs and you are living a commutable distance from anywhere in the South East of UK and you are looking for a varied role with its challenges to get on top of a service route which will include fault finding, servicing, repairs then this opportunity is for you!

Candidate:

  • NVQ 3 Qualified - Service & Repair

  • Technically minded - Electrical and Mechanical Engineering fault finding

  • Flexible travelling to cover service requirements across South East UK.

  • 3 years experience as a minimum servicing and repairing passenger lifts, platform lifts, goods lifts - Minimum Expectation

  • Confident repairing a range of manufacturers for passenger and goods lifts - Essential

  • Full UK Driving License - Essential

  • Experience in Fault Finding can read electrical lift diagrams - Essential

  • Electrical wiring within the lift industry - Essential

  • 17th/18th Edition Qualification - Desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Lift servicing of passenger, goods lifts, access, dumbwaiters

  • Offering technical guidance to Lift Engineers on site and over the phone

  • Site surveys - Provide accurate lift information to best inform management decisions

  • Complete technical repairs on a variety of lifts

  • Execute in-depth fault finding to diagnose problematic lifts - servicing skills

We are now recruiting for a highly motivated Sales Manager to proactively manage the sales function for a well-known independent lift & escalator engineering organisation in the UK.

This role will require the selling of either new service contracts for escalators or major repair works, modernisation's or new installations. The role is to identify customer's needs and to generate sales to build a pipeline of new business. The aim is to bring with you an order book which will encompass your portfolio of existing lift and escalator client base. You will have clear and defined routes to market to generate new business aware of new construction projects coming up for end 2020/2021.

If you are a proven and highly skilled salesman in the lift and escalator industry and you are familiar with exceeded individual sales targets you will be rewarded with a market leading basic salary and commission structure including bonuses for over-achieving. This role has been designed for future growth of the business. The role will also include account management for exiting clients where you will nurture these accounts looking to identify both lift and escalator sales opportunities.
