Fork lift operator

Material Handler required 

Sheet Metal Industry

Day Shifts - 6.30am start

Leicester South Wigston LE18 

£9.00 per hour

 

Immediate Material handler/fork lift operator  role available to start in Wigston - must have proven experience working in an engineering environment

 

The Role:

-Operating a counterbalance fork lift to move  variety of sheet metal and steel products

- General labouring duties as and when required 

- Using hand and air tools

- Working with sheet metal of various sizes

- Working as part of a team

 

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

- Flt counterbalance licence (will put through refresher if expired)

- Worked in a sheet metal environment previously 

- Excellent attitude and desire to learn

- Ability to develop your understanding of engineering drawings and techniques

- Motivated and excellent team player

- Excellent time-keeping

- Able to commute to the Wigston 

 

The Package:

- Starting pay rate of £9.00 per hour 

- Free onsite parking

- 39 hours per week

- Day shifts, 6.30am start with 12.30pm finish on Friday’s

- Potential to earn a permanent contract
