My client is an established concrete manufacturer based in the West Leicester area of Leicestershire, commutable from Hinckley, Nuneaton, Atherstone and Coalville. They are currently looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to join their team.

The Role:

- Visual inspection of large concrete products

- Working from checklists to make sure all components have been fitted correctly

- Using measuring tapes and verniers to check measurements against drawings

- Completing pressure tests on concrete blocks

- Working from engineering drawings

- Working independently and as part of a team

- Initially Day shifts, this will turn into rotating day and evening shifts

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

- Quality Inspection experience

- You must be able to understand engineering drawings and use measuring tools

- Able to write reports and IT literate

- Motivated and excellent team player

- Happy to work various shifts and long hours

- Must be happy working in a quarry environment

The Package:

- PAYE rates are £9.00 for Days and £10.80 for the Late shift

- Umbrella rates available up to £13.44 per hour on the Late shift

- Free onsite parking

- 39 hours per week

- Lots of overtime available

Purpose of Job
