POTENTIAL FOR PERMANENT CONTRACT

Decal Applicators with vinyl vehicle wrapping experience required for an initial ongoing contract in the West Leicester area. Excellent chance of earning a permanent contract for the right candidate. Commutable from Coalville, Derby, Nottingham and Leicester.

Duties vary but include the below:

- Applying vinyl wraps and graphics to light commercial vehicles

- Applying vehicle decals

- Working independently and as part of a team

- Day Shifts, 37 hours standard

- After 6 months you may also be eligible for a quarterly bonus

- PAYE and Ltd Company and Umbrella rates available

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

- Decal and vinyl application experience, or a similar role with vinyl stickers

- An eye for detail is essential

- Highly motivated and strong team-player

- Must be physically fit for this type of work

- Must be able to commute to LE65 area

The Package:

- A competitive hourly rate of up to £15.50, with PAYE and LTD/Umbrella options available

- Excellent overtime rates after 37 hours

Job Description

Working as part of the Operations team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering quality part and process preparation. You will manage the delivery of off-tool, off-process parts and final part approval to ensure the smooth launch of new products.

You will provide technical assistance to suppliers to aid the removal of roadblocks, establish root cause and robust solutions to deviation from customer expectations

You will work with the program/ project management team to ensure that all deliverables are achieved on time, minimising any delays.

What will I need to be successful?

You will hold a Batchelors degree or a HNC or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant discipline. You will be able to demonstrate relevant industrial experience ideally within Automotive OEM or 1st Tier. You will hold a lead audit qualification, ideally including AS9100 standards. A Six Sigma black or green belt certification would be advantageous.

You will have a proven track record of supplier development and relationship management, with demonstrable knowledge of assembly line set up and growth to medium / high volume.

A proven record of developing quality management systems to IATF16949 and AS9100 is desirable.

Experience with quality processes, quality improvement or lean manufacturing is desirable, as is knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, welding, casting, stamping, plating, plastic moulding, metal cutting, steel making, steel processing and PCB assembly.

It is important that you have excellent communication skills and you are able to work effectively in a team.

You will have strong analytical skills along with strong commercial awareness and excellent supplier relationship skills.

Job Description

Working as part of the Operations team, you will be responsible for performing a range of quality assurance tasks, working closely with management to ensure all Quality, Health and Safety risks are understood, and appropriate mitigation action implemented.

You will be responsible for leading activities to maintain accreditations to ISO45001 and ISO14000.

You will provide advice and support to ensure the organisation meets legal and moral obligations to maintain their current high levels of Quality and Health and Safety

You will be a champion of APQP (advanced product quality planning) during the development of new products to ensure customer timely customer approval of PSW (part submission warrants).

You will have experience of using quality tools, such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, 8D, PSW. Proven working knowledge of PUWER regulations is essential. You will also have good working knowledge of other relevant health & safety legislation, such as COSHH, DSEAR, Hazardous Voltage, LEV and PSSR.

It is important that you have excellent communication skills and you are able to work effectively in a team.
