Service Engineer (CNC)
This is a great opportunity for a Service Engineer in Scotland commutable from Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Stirling. Paying £30,000 - £35,000 car, pension, smart phone and lap top, it is working for a dynamic machine tool company that distribute a range of high quality CNC machines.

This fantastic Service Engineer role will include diagnostic work, service, repairs and installations of a range of high-quality machine tool systems.
As the successful experienced Service Engineer you should have a comprehensive knowledge of working with machine tools; strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; be experienced with fault finding and working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; and be familiar with a variety of CNC control systems including Siemens, Fanuc and Heidenhain. PLC programming and servo drives knowledge would be advantageous. You should be self-confident, motivated and have excellent communication and IT skills. It may suit someone looking to find more of a work / life balance as it will not involve lots of overtime and staying away - typically on average 2 nights a week
