My client is a specialist engineering firm based in Cambridgeshire, they specialise in control panels for special purpose machinery, due to a fantastic order book for the start for 2019 they currently need to recruit a number of skilled electrical fitters to assist with production and installation projects.

THE ROLE OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION FITTER

• Wiring Sub Assemblies
  
  
• Wiring Racks
  
  
• Machine Wiring
  
  
• Some mechanical assembly
  
  
• Preparation of wires
  
  
• Termination of wires 
  
  
• Installation of cables
  
  
• Testing
  
  
• Installation on site
  
  
• Working to health and safety regulations
  
  
• Travel
  
  

THE RIGHT ELECTRICAL FITTER/ PANEL WIRER

• Ability to read schematics
  
  
• Wire point to point

• 17th or 18th Edition holder
