Our well-established client is a leading Food Manufacturer in the Luton area. Due to continuous growth, they are currently looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their successful Maintenance team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the daily upkeep of all production machinery to ensure production runs smoothly.
 
Commutable from Milton Keynes, Northampton, Daventry, Oxford, Bedworth, Corby, Nuneaton, Aylesbury, Bicester and Coventry.
 
Duties Include:
- Reactive and preventative maintenance of food production machinery including check weighers, metal detectors, multi vacs and multi-head ovens
- Electrical and mechanical repairs
- Fault finding and repair of PLCs which use IO (Input/Output)
- Continuous improvement tasks
- Working as part of a thriving team
 
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- A time served or apprentice trained multi-skilled or electrical maintenance engineer
- Food or plastics manufacturing industry OR automation experience
- Engineering qualifications (electrical preferred)
- PLC fault finding experience
- Positive attitude at all times
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a high standard of personal performance
- Flexible and reliable

- Starting salary of up to £50k per annum depending on experience and qualifications
