Administrator - Sales Support

£17000 - £21000 per annum

Position: Administrator Sales Support

Location: Leicester, Loughborough, Thurmaston, Syston

Salary: £18-21k plus Bonus 25 days hols, pension and early finish on Fridays

The Company:

My client is a leading, established, engineering manufacturing company. Designs manufacture and install bespoke engineering solutions in the specialist applications industry.


Provide administration support to both internal and external customers by being day to day liaison as their main point of contact.

Contact is mostly through email with some phone calls

Building relationships with prospects from our existing database

Liaise with customers, suppliers, sales and engineering teams on initial product, application and project inquiries

Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical files, product literature, technical specifications, etc. for internal and external customers

Working alongside our existing sales team (internal & external)

Providing research and information for the ongoing lead generation, marketing materials and

literature such as website, brochures and social media

Understand and interpret customer requirements to provide cost-effective, capable products

that fulfill their expectations

Key Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills

First class administration skills

Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player

Confident telephone manner

Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a close team and the ability to persuade

and influence others at all levels

Excellent written & oral communication skills with internal and external customers

Strong attention to detail

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize own workload whilst working under

pressure and meet tight deadlines

Proven experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite software
