Business Development Manager - Central to East U.K

My client are a Global Market Leader for suppling world class precision engineering products such as Rotary Tables, Tooling Solutions. They have a rare opportunity to join an already successful sales team which is experiencing business growth. 

They are looking for a career driven individual who thrives in selling high quality products and has a 'Hunter' mentality. Covering the Central to East UK Region including South Midlands, East Anglia, Home Counties and North London. Person to be ideally located within Home Counties area, but they will consider individuals located in Peterborough, Northampton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, Luton, Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester area. 

The Role: 

  • Managing existing portfolio base
  • Identifying & developing new opportunities within your territory
  • Selling high quality products
  • Communicating with stake holders to ensure client SLA's are met
  • Regular visits to their innovation centre
  • Supporting exhibitions and customer events both UK and abroad with potential overnight stays

Minimum Skills / Experience Required: 


  • Experience of selling Cutting Tools, Machine Tools or Capital Equipment
  • Ability to work on there own as this is a Work for Home role
  • Organised and able to plan their work load
  • Sales experience is ESSENTIAL but full Sales & Product training will be provided
  • Confident in speaking to people and will have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated and excellent team player

The Package: 



  • Salary up to £50k per annum DOE
  • UNCAPPED commission structure with realistic OTE £65k-£70k
  • Sales performance bonus

Are you a skilled CNC Service or Technical Support Engineer looking for your next opportunity to develop and progress within your career? As a Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers in the UK & Ireland  as well as managing and supporting a team of service engineers currently out in the field.

Based in the head office in High Wycombe other suitable locations may include: Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and Reading.
The Role of Technical Support Engineer:

  • Working as part of Team of three Technical Support Engineers  
  • Provide Technical assistance to customers in UK & Ireland  
  • Support and Coordinate Field based engineers  
  • Provide spares support to both customer and engineers  
  • Troubleshooting technical problems and assisting customers and engineers with technical support over the phone
  • Create customer quotes requested and generated from visits  
  • Customer visits when required
  • Develop & maintain working relationships with key customers  
  • Organise the daily duties of CNC Service engineers  
  • Manage your own small team of engineers

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:


  • HNC level mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications
  • Previous experience working on CNC machinery or similar 
  • Willing to travel if required
  • Ability to work & communicate professionally at customers premises
  • Full clean UK driving licence

  • Salary up to £45k DOE
