This is a great opportunity for an experienced Fire Engineer

  • Providing safety information on fire safety design and working with Senior Fire Engineers to attend client meetings.

  • Working with Architects and other Engineers to develop system designs.

  • Providing support in the preparation of bids.

  • Supporting in the design of fire safety systems.

  • Coordinating with design team members and project stakeholders.

  • Working with the Senior team members to develop further business and attend client meetings.

As the successful Fire Engineer you are likely to have significant experience in the following

  • 2 years experience as a Fire Engineer ideally within a multi disciplinary.

  • Knowledge of BS 7974/9999.

  • Ability to support in the writing and preparation of bids.

  • Enthusiastic approach to working, with strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • CFD Modelling Experience (desirable)

  • Relevant Degree

  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and the ability to pick up systems quickly

This role will involve travelling around the UK, with potential for international travel.

  • Degree qualified within either Acoustics or a related subject, minimum 2:1

  • Membership of IOA

  • Strong drive, with the ability to use own initiative and work independently at times

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Proactive, with an outgoing and enthusiastic manner

  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and the ability to pick up systems quickly

This role will involve travelling around the UK, with potential for international travel.

  • Relevant Acoustics Degree, or an Engineering Degree (essential).

  • Member of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) Diploma (desirable).

  • A minimum of 1 year's relevant experience within building acoustics for the graduate level, with a minimum of 3 years for the Engineer level.

  • Ability to work well under pressure, with an eye for detail.

  • Reliable team player, who takes responsibility for own work, and accuracy.

  • Full Driving Licence.

  • Full IT Literate, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and ACS.

This role will involve travelling around the UK, with potential for international travel.
