Responsibilities

  • Design and development of new control systems

  • Continuing the development of existing systems

  • Testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems

The Right Person

The successful Head of Controls will have a good understanding of concepts involved in CNC and Machine Control as well as an understanding of how to design, specify and implement multi-axis CNC control systems and ancillaries (Fanuc skills are very desirable, Bosch skills will also score highly). You will have a good understanding of electrical systems and fault finding. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, have a customer focused attitude and an analytical approach to problem solving. Excellent time and Project Management skills whilst working to challenging timescales.
