My client is a leading, established, engineering manufacturing company. Designs manufactures and installs bespoke engineering solutions in the specialist applications industry. Due to expansion, we are now recruiting for a Business Development Executive to open up new OEM Accounts - focused on the following sectors, MOD, Heavy Plant, Industrial Applications, Signage, Medical, Rail, Truck and Bus

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this new role is to bring on board new customers (80%) and account manage and sell to existing accounts (20%)

Generation of new business via appointments and leads

Building lasting relationships with prospects, leads and existing customers

Recognising new sales and growth opportunities and managing the introduction of new products to existing customers

Liaising with sales support functions to ensure the marketing material (e.g. website, catalogues, email shots, etc.) actively promotes the brand and products

Liaising with and supporting direct and distributor channels as well as internal sales and engineering teams, with product introduction information, complex project enquiries and product training

Working alongside the Sales Administrator to provide effective account and project management and maintenance of up to date quotations, technical documentation, including technical files, product literature, technical specifications, etc. for customers

Provide input into annual marketing plan to support account and channel growth

Working alongside our existing sales team (internal & external)

Providing research and information for ongoing lead generation, marketing materials and literature such as website, brochures and social media

Understand and interpret customer requirements to provide cost-effective, capable products that fulfil their expectations

Key Requirements:
