THE ROLE OF HEALTH & SAFETY SUPPORT OFFICER

  • Monday to Friday

  • Monitor that contractors are working to approved RAMS, Safety documents and H&S Plans.;
  • Liaise with Contractor’s EHS representative;
  • Monitor that approved lift plans, hot work assessments etc are in place, available and adhered to at the point of work;
  • Verification of contractor training including delivery of toolbox talks;
  • Undertake EHS patrols;
  • Conduct regular EHS behavioural observations on the contractors;
  • Record, monitor and advise the Project Technical Officer, QEH&S Manager or Project Responsible Officer as appropriate of any deviation from best/agreed practice.
  • Ensure appropriate PPE is worn always.
 

THE RIGHT HEALTH & SAFETY SUPPORT OFFICER

  • Industrial / Manufacturing Health & Safety background
  • Experience of fresh eye observation
  • Competent to identify problems 
  • Must be process driven with a keen eye for detail

We have a great opportunity available for an experienced HR Administrator or Office manager to become part of a small team based in Kensington.  The company are leaders in their field of procurement and logistics with sites across the globe, with the acquisition of additional sites to accomodate customer demand.

Your role as HR Administrator will be to support your team with the administrative and personnel tasks across the company. Responsibilities to include, non exhaustive:

Duties include: 

  • Heavy involvement in the recruitment of personnel across UK sites to include job postings, short listing and arranging interviews. 
  • Drafting and completion of new starter documents and Right to Works
  • Obtaining references for new employees ensuring that compliance is met for specific sites
  • Ensure that employee personnel records are managed to include holidays 
  • Involvement in grievances, disciplinaries, dismissals
  • Assisting in the management of the UK fleet
  • Undertaking all administrative/ HR tasks asked of you
Minimum skills/ experience required -

  • You will of worked in a HR function
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Clear Communicator 
  • Meticulous
