FP Mccann is a precast concrete company with manufacturing facilities throughout the United Kingdom. They produce a range of concrete solutions for the construction industry including drainage tunnels, shafts and fencing. 

FP Mccann employs over 1500 people and has been working with Precision People to help fill their temporary contractor roles for the last three years. To find out how some of these placed candidates are getting on, we went to visit   Leicestershire facility. We met up with Dave, who started at FP Mccann 3 months ago as a concrete operative.

After just 2 months of work, Dave was given the opportunity to become a team leader. It was initially just for the duration of 1 project, however, due to his hardworking attitude and proven success in the role, he was offered to stay on as team leader. 

Dave enjoys working at FP Mccann, saying

We spoke about his quick promotion and he wanted to give his advice to anyone looking to move up the ranks like him.

"Get your head down, get into it, get the work done. Basically, that's what I do. As long as you turn up, do your job they do notice your hard work”
