Summit Leisure, based in Wiltshire are specialists in everything associated with swimming pools and have been supplying leisure products which includes swimming pool enclosures, pool equipment and swim spas and hot tubs for nearly 40 years.

Previously to working with Precision People, Summit Leisure had been working with more generalist recruitment agencies in the nearby areas. On several occasions, they had been let down with temporary workers not turning up.

Summit Leisure decided to try a more specialist recruitment consultancy who were near the vicinity of the job they were carrying out and contacted consultant Ross Marvin at Precision People.

OUR APPROACH

Director Mandy Kelsey spoke to Ross and explained she needed two temporary workers to start work the following day at 8am for approximately two to three days.

By taking the client through an extensive list of questions to really understand what skill sets they required for the role, Ross was able to quickly source two suitable candidates from his extensive database of skilled and referenced local temporary staff, in the short period of time.

OUR SOLUTION

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, one of the temporary workers could no longer commit to the role. Ross quickly got to work and by 8pm that evening he had secured another suitable and referenced temporary worker to start early the next day.

RESULT

Summit Leisure were so pleased with the replacement candidate, that they requested him to do more days work than originally planned and if he was in the right location, hire him on a permanent basis.
